Hi! Welcome to my blog! I started this blog because I love to write and it really helps me clear my “midnight brain”. I am one of the few and far between that actually likes working the overnight shift. I was always a night owl so finding a job that allowed me to be awake at night is awesome. Being able to be home with my family during the day is such a huge plus and keeps me sane. “Midnight brain” is what I call the haze of being a night shift worker (aka night walker) living in a world of day walkers (people that actually function in a 9 to 5 world). Some days I get more sleep than others. It’s a perpetual fog of lack of sleep, not remembering what day of the week it is and forgetting what I was talking about midsentence.

Another thing that keeps me sane is traveling. In March of 2014, I traveled to Australia and New Zealand for a wedding and got the idea to start a travel blog for my family and friends back home to follow. I started a private WordPress blog and had so much fun! I loved sharing photos and telling everyone what I had been up to and loved the feed back I got. Once I returned home I researched some blogs and thought it would be fun to have an outlet to share my musings!

Loving my Boston sports teams, watching movies and TV Shows (I secretly LOVE watching Donny Loves Jenny and the Kardashians) a good book and traveling are some of my favorite things to do in my downtime. Good music, great friends, warm weather, flip flops and good cold adult beverages definitely help keep me in my happy place!

Buckle up, it should be a fun ride!
